F1 BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2018Event Information

Get prepared to see the orange army out in force, engulfing one of the most iconic circuits on the planet, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. The Ardennes Forest comes alive as the sound of F1 engines flows through them. Spa was once known as one of the fastest and most dangerous circuits before Jackie Stewart stepped in and demanded an upgrade. This is the site of many unforgettable moments in racing history

Historic Moments:

  • Jackie Stewart demanded upgrades to the original Spa circuit in 1969 after a number of deaths during races in previous years. It resulted in the Belgian Grand Prix being removed from the F1 calendar in 1971 and held at various tracks after that. It returned to Spa in 1985.
  • A young Michael Schumacher made his F1 debut for Jordan at the Belgian Grand Prix in 1991.
  • The 2004 race saw six different drivers take the lead but in the end McLaren’s Kimi Raikkonen was victorious.

The date of this race is based on the provisional calendar. Usually these dates do not change but this cannot be guaranteed until the final calendar is released towards the end of the year. If the date of the race does change, it will not affect the validity of any tickets you purchase for the event. If possible, we recommend booking any accommodation and flights/travel on a flexible basis or waiting until the calendar is confirmed.

For extra peace of mind, you can take out Booking Protection cover at the checkout and receive a refund on your booking including service and delivery fees if the event date changes and you cannot attend on the new date.

Children aged 5 and under are granted free entry but must sit on their parent’s lap in a grandstand unless a separate child ticket is purchased. Identification may be required for children on the day. Discounted child tickets are valid for persons aged 15 and under.

A disabled podium for wheelchair users is available next to the Gold 7 grandstand. A disabled spectator and one carer can use the podium – each person will require a separate ticket. Please select the Wheelchair Podium ticket(s) from the ticket list. A disability card may be required both at the time of booking and on arrival at the circuit.

Pit Walk

A free afternoon pit walk and drivers’ autograph session is expected to be held on the Thursday for all 3-day ticket holders (subject to confirmation). You will not need to pre-book to take part in the Pit Walk.
